Damper rings is mainly used for metro vehicles and intercity vehicles to reduce efficiently noise generated between wheel and track.

Damper ring which consist of several connective parts, is installed inside the two sides of wheel. Thanks to the tension between those connective parts, damper ring can eliminate the stress made by the wheel deformation during the vehicle running or braking. So it has higher safety factor than other methods.
